Gawky: Tales of an Extra Long Awkward Phase - Margot Leitman I got this book from NetGalley.

The author writes about her life growing up as a tall, awkward person in New Jersey. Leitman uses humor to communicate her struggles and experiences trying to fit in to a world that isn't quite sure what to make of her. I was hoping for more laugh out loud moments when instead I merely found myself smiling on occasion and wondering when/if the poor girl was going to catch a break. All in all, this was a quick read but not one of the more enjoyable memoirs I've come across.
